Reading
In the Reading section, candidates are assessed on their ability to comprehend different types of texts, such as passages from books, newspapers, and magazines. The section includes three reading passages, each followed by a set of questions of various formats like multiple-choice, matching, and short answer questions. The duration of the Reading section is 60 minutes, and it is scored on a scale of 0 to 9 based on the number of correct answers.
Writing
Moving on to the Writing section, it evaluates candidates’ writing skills and requires them to complete two tasks within 60 minutes. Listening
The Listening section evaluates candidates’ ability to understand spoken English in real-life situations. It lasts for 30 minutes and includes four recorded audio passages, covering conversations, monologues, and academic lectures. Candidates answer a set of questions for each passage, and the Listening section is also scored on a scale of 0 to 9 based on the number of correct answers.
